Qwest Home Phone Service

Continuing my last writing about Qwest, now I write about home phone service which offered by Qwest. Before I talk about Qwest Phone Service, I want to talk about people needs in home phone, its functions and its costs, both local call or long distance call.

No one can avoid local phone call service in their home, surely every home need phone service to connect with another, even for long distance phone service. For local call, usually free of charge or no cost that dialled directly by a telephone subscriber in some areas such as Canada, United States and New Zealand. But, most areas are charged for fees, in this case, almost all countries are charged for the connection.

Desktop Opensuse 11.1

I don’t know why, before I try this OS, i haven’t found a satifisfied OS yet which is compatible with my laptop. For all computers in my laboratorium, I use dual operating system, Windows XP and PCLinuxOS 2007. Untill this time, there is no problems or mistakes.

Unfortunately, my laptop with low class specification is not compatible with PCLinuxOS. Some drivers and programs are not included in Live CD installer. I decided to try some Linux Distributions like Fedora 9, Ubuntu 8.10, Mandriva 10. But, wireless-fidelity driver does not work correctly. I’ve tried to install driver manually, but, its too difficult for me.

Finally, last month, in March, I got Open Suse DVD Installer with Extras which is part of linux magazine package. Soon, I install in my laptop, voilaaaaaa…, All drivers works correctly. Some programs can be installed via YaST. Now, my laptop has dual operating system, Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium and Open Suse 11.1.
